DESCRIPTION
Using a ceramic heater, an AC to DC power supply, and a used 3D printer nozzle + hotend, I built a machine that could turn used plastic bottles into 3D printer filament.
Inspired and hurt by the littering and waste of plastic bottles, I set out to find a solution. This project was the first time when I handled both AC to DC power using a 48V power supply.
This project also participated and won first place in my school's 6th grade Shark Tank activity.
